St Anthony's Feast at Veroda on Feb 15

The annual feast of the ‘Blessed Tongue' of St Anthony popularly known as 'Jibeche fest' will be celebrated by the parishioners of Veroda with traditional fervour and gaiety on February 15, 2021. The concelebrated high mass will be held at 5.30 pm in the open pandal put up in the church premises. The main celebrant for the feast mass will be Rev Fr Milchester Furtado OFM Cap. The theme will be "Devan dil'lea utrachea bollan Deva utor porgotum-ia.

The Parish Priest Rev Fr George Ratos said that this year a three-day Novena (Tridum) will be held before the feast with the novena mass starting everyday at 5.30 pm. The Parish Priest has appealed to the lay faithful to attend the novena and feast mass by following the social distancing norms and SOPs.

Marathi book by former speaker Shambhu Bhau Bandekar to be released on Feb 15

PANAJIMarathi book, 'Tethe Kar Mazhe Julati' by former speaker and writer, Shambhu Bhau Bandekar will be released on February 15 at 4.30 pm at the official residence of the Chief Minister. The book will be released at the hands of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. This is the 20th book by Bandekar. The book that has an introductory note by former speaker Prof Surendra Shirsat, offered to social worker and industrialist Dr Prafull Hede.
