Department of English, Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management, Parvari organised “Theatrespeare” a literary event to celebrate the life and works of renowned playwright Shakespeare. Clarinda Dias, HoD, Dept of English, Dhempe College was invited as the Chief Guest for the inaugural function and Datta Naik, Management Committee member for valedictory function. Chief Guest Clarinda Dias in her address said one cannot study English literature without studying Shakespeare. Shakespeare had great talent without any University degree. The event had various competitions such as story writing competition, sketch competition, memes, soliloquy, sonnet, cosplay etc for the students of the college.
