SANGUEM: United Sports Club Seraulim move into the semi-finals after defeating Fr Agnel SC, Paroda 5-3 via the tie-breaker in the 19th Golden Jubilee All Goa inter-village football tournament, organised by Uguem Rising Club, at URC ground, Uguem.
In the first semi-final, Seraulim SC took the lead in 15th minuteafter Oliver Dcosta found the net through a snap shot which gave no chance for the rival keeper.
On changing ends, and with one goal down, Fr Agnel SC, Paroda changed their game and with some quick passes managed to overcome the otherwise powerful defenders of United Sports Club and came up with an equaliser in the 50th minute through Rohan Gaonkar.
In the tie-breaker, Oliver D'Costa, Ashley Fernandes, Sentaro Furtado, Fusion Fernandes and Seleoy Fernandes scored for the winners while Anthony Dias, Omkar Gaonkar and Reagan Costa scored for Fr Agnel.
