Vidya Prabodhini College, Department of Commerce, organised a webinar on the theme “Resume Building: The 1st Step towards a Successful Career’’ recently. Principal Prof Bhushan Bhave welcomed the gathering. Asst Prof Rudresh Mhamal introduced the guest speaker for the webinar Prof Atul Sathe.
The resource person for the webinar Prof Atul Sathe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy at HR College of Commerce & Economics having 12 years of experience. He is an ICWA rank-holder. He addressed the students on resume building and related issues. Undergraduate education is when the confusion strikes as to how to develop one’s resume. It becomes a complex task for the students to attract the correct organisation while beginning to pursue their first job. The webinar was aimed at eliminating the aforementioned ambiguity, and generating the correct showcase of their knowledge and skills. Students pursuing undergraduate benefitted by this webinar, and it has enabled them to present a precise brief of their talent. Recent recruiting trends like importance of ATS tools, how to add value to one’s resume is also included in this webinar discussion. The webinar was attended by total 70 BCom students.
