PANAJI: The Pilerne Thursday Market (PTMF) will celebrate Bomoicarachem Fest on May 11 at 5 pm at Pilerne to welcome those Goans living in Mumbai and other places to Goa during the summer holidays.
Mario Mascarenhas, media coordinator at the PTMF said, “Goa without the Bomoicars is like a Goa without its unique summer life of cashew, mango, jackfruit, kanta, chunna, zamblam, binna and of course urraca, feni, festas and football tournaments.”
At the fest Bomoicars and other migrant Goans will be encouraged to share snippets from their lives outside Goa and to sing, dance and perform their nostalgia.
