The South Goa District Magistrate has issued a corrigendum allowing six-wheeler transport vehicles to operate on the Anmod Ghat route.
Earlier, the District Magistrate had issued a notification on 5 July 2025, followed by an extension on 2 September 2025, restricting the movement of all heavy commercial vehicles on Anmod Ghat (NH) from both directions due to landslide risks.
To reduce inconvenience to the public and goods transporters, District Magistrate Egna Cleetus has instructed the National Highway authorities to carry out necessary restoration works so that six-wheeler vehicles can move safely.
