Active cases dip to below 40 in Canacona

After a long time, active Covid cases dropped below 50 in Canacona taluka. According to Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC) Health Officer Dr Vandana Desai, there were 37 active cases as on Tuesday, while the overall count went up to 685 cases after one patient tested positive in Shristhal.

On Sunday, there were 44 active cases and a total of 682 cases, while on Monday six patients recovered and this brought down the active cases to 37. So far, 10 Covid patients have succumbed to the virus.
