BICHOLIM
Bicholim Mamlatdar and incharge of the Flying Squad Pravinjay Pandit raided sand extraction sites at Amona and Navelim in Bicholim taluka and seized 80 cubic metres of illegally extracted sand.
The raid was conducted as per directives of the high court and the sand was later dumped back into the Mandovi river with the assistance of a JCB.
Circle Inspector Sahadev Mote, Amona and Navelim Talathi Gauresh Naik and Police Constable Manoj Gawas assisted the Mamlatdar during the raid.
