The Goa University has decided to allow colleges to conduct examinations for the final year students of under graduate and post-graduate education programmes in offline mode from January 4, 2021.
In accordance to special Ordinance of the Goa University and in partial modification to circulars issued earlier the Goa University has decided about the examination.
The University has ordered colleges to follow strict compliance of the guidelines in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The principals of affiliated colleges have to ensure all arrangements for maintaining social distancing and use of face mask, sanitisation of classrooms and all either necessary preparations while conducting examinations.
As many as 46 professional and non-professional and non-professional colleges and institutions for undergraduate teaching are affiliated to the University. Besides, eight research institutions are recognized by the Goa University for research.
Around 6 colleges are offering post-graduate courses in Goa including Goa University.
Over 30,000 youth from all talukas of Goa are studying in affiliated colleges and over 2,000 are enrolled for post-graduate programmes at the University campus. Around 10,000 students of the final year are expected to answer the examination.
