What’s next, is a question being asked in Cavelossim village circles over the road construction in the NDZ area of village allegedly by ex-India cricketer.
While the road has been removed, the rubble stones has been stacked in the area, waiting for transportation, throwing up questions as to who will lift away the stones and whether directions issued by the authorities is said to have been complied with without taking away the stones from the property.
That’s not all. Can the violators of NDZ norms escape the prescribed penalty if the party complies with the directions issued as per the rules in force. This question assumes significance and comes against the backdrop of reports that the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) has reportedly discharged Nehra in the case after compliance of the directions.
