SANGUEM
Panchayat member from Ward No 2 of Netravali Village Panchayat in Sanguem cleared all internal and main road in her ward thereby bringing much needed relief to the villagers who had been troubled by overgrown bushes all along the roads in the village.
Due to overgrown bushes on both sides of the road, the roads had become much narrower in the village making it difficult for the vehicle riders and pedestrians alike to use the roads.
While vehicle riders would find it difficult to see an oncoming vehicle and give side for the vehicle coming in opposite direction, the pedestrians were left with hardly any place to walk when vehicles would overtake.
Keeping with her election promise, the newly elected panchayat member from Ward No 2 Rakhi Prabhudessai Naik undertook cleaning operations of all the internal roads in her ward. The roads cleaned by Naik includes the roads proceeding to Kerkem, Durga Temple, Vargan, Dabal and Bandwada.
