An all India fair and exhibition of handicrafts, textiles and handloom – Dastkaar Natura Utsav – was inaugurated at the Mapusa Residency hall, near Gandhi Chowk, Mapusa on February 21.
The exhibition will be open throughout the day for the public till March 13.
The exhibition includes a display of home linen and dress material from all over the country.
Banaras silk sarees, cotton sarees, kurta, shirts, carpets, bed sheets, sofa set covers, cut work, Pouchanpalli handloom, Bahalpur silk and material, crosia hand work etc are on display at the fair.
Similarly, a range of exhibits which include heritage collection of textiles handlooms, stone painting, artificial jewelry and brass work are also on display.
Items like Jaipur bangles, German silver silk and velvet painting, rose wood carving, Kashmir wooden furniture and lack bangles from Rajasthan are available at the exhibition at a discounted rate.
The exhibition also includes a display of home linen and dress material from all over the country.
