Even as the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process is currently underway, the total electors on the electoral roll for the South Goa district, covering all the Assembly constituencies in the district is 576,864 voters.
Statistics compiled by the South Goa district electoral office shows that of the total 576,864 voters, females outnumber males in the district.
The number of females enrolled on the electoral roll is pegged 299,605 voters, while 277,250 voters are males. Around nine votes enrolled on the electoral rolls are transgender.
On the population front, the census population 2011 has shown total population in the district as 806,367. However, the total projected population for the year is now pegged at 894, 987, comprising of 443,195 females and 451,792 males.
