PANAJI: On the occasion of ‘World Tribal Day,’ ST leader Anthony Barbosa was honoured for his significant contributions to the upliftment of tribal welfare in Goa on Friday. The felicitation ceremony took place at the Institute Menezes Braganza Auditorium and was organised by the Goa Commission for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Government of Goa).
Chief Guest, Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, presented the award to Barbosa, with Director of Education Shailesh R. Sinai Zingde serving as the Guest of Honour. The event was also graced by the distinguished presence of Director of Tribal Welfare Dasharath Redkar and the Commissioner of SC & ST Deepak Karmalkar.
