CANACONA: A 22-year-old woman from Nagarcem-Canacona allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence late Sunday evening.
According to Canacona Police, Karishma Naik was found hanging in one of the rooms at her house at Nagarcem late Sunday evening.
Naik, reportedly employed as a nursery teacher in a nearby school, is learnt to have been carrying a note in her hand when her body was found hanging.
However, no official confirmation could be ascertained as to the reason for such a drastic step.
