A ‘Mood of the People’ survey conducted by Prudent Media has revealed that 64 per cent of people have expressed a desire for a change in the government.
The survey indicated that only 35 per cent of people are satisfied with the government’s performance, while the remaining 1 per cent was undecided.
Besides, around 25 per cent of people want Pramod Sawant again as chief minister in the next term.
However, the survey also revealed that public assessment of the State government’s performance was categorised as very good (13.1%), good (46.9%), bad (29.2%), worst (10.4%) and NA (0.4%).
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant declined to comment on the Prudent Media survey.
Prudent Media has been conducting "Mood of the People" survey when elections are approaching to gauge general public opinion and various teams from Prudent Media conducted this survey all over the State.
On Sunday, it may be recalled that another survey had revealed that 11 legislators were considered unsafe in their constituencies, while seven other were safe and two MLAs had a mixed chance at the upcoming assembly elections to 20 constituencies in North Goa.
