20-yr-old commits suicide at Arambol

PERNEM: A 20-year-old woman from Arambol allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence on Wednesday.

According to Pernem Police, Pournima Thakur was found hanging with the help of a Dupatta at her residence at 2 pm and the motive was not yet known.

Pernem Police conducted the Panchanama and after conducting the autopsy at GMC Hospital in Bambolim, the body was handed over to her family members to perform final rites. Police is investigating the case.
