270 g charas worth Rs 1.5 lakh seized at Arlem, 1 arrested

Maina Curtorim police have arrested a man after allegedly finding 270 grams of charas worth Rs 1.50 lakh in his possession.

Maina Curtorim police station in-charge PI Kapil Nayak said police conducted a raid at an open place behind the Royal Enfield showroom at Arlem-Raia and allegedly found Fairoz Dafedar in possession of 270 grams of charas.

Police also seized a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire car under a search and seizure panchnama.

Dafedar was arrested and is currently in police custody. Further investigation is in progress.
