PANAJI: "Beyond Walls," part of the Sunaparanta Art Initiator Lab (SAIL) 2023, edition III, will last till July 12, featuring 10 mentors showcasing their artistic creativity. Artists include Abhilasha Goswami, Arti Kurtarkar, Gautam Amerkar, Neelam Chauhan, Omkar Baaule, Pragya Bhagat, Shilpa Nayudu, Siddhesh Gaunekar, Sidhan Kundaikar, and Vihang Navgekar.
Lina Vincent, art historian, curator, and mentor, highlights that SAIL blends new personalities with diverse ideas and collaborations. She notes the programme's growing ties with external mentors who enrich discussions on pedagogical structures and knowledge sharing. As lead mentor, Vincent emphasises the need for new languages to address contemporary practice in a shifting cultural landscape.
