The bus driver and three passengers were injured in a mishap at Apewal in Priol on Monday morning.
The mishap took place as the KTC bus was proceeding from Ponda to Savoi-Verem, when the driver lost control and the vehicle rammed into a roadside wall.
The driver Prakash Salunkhe (52) of Betki-Khandola and the passengers, Meghana Sawant (52) of Quepem and Sushma Gaude (45) of Tamsuli-Khandola were injured and received treatment before being sent home.
Dhanashri Naik (30) from Adpai was referred to the GMC for further treatment.
The traffic was blocked briefly after the incident. The bus was removed from the site with the help of crane later in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant enquired with authorities regarding the bus accident at Apewal in Priol.
“The injured are recovering well and I wish them a speedy recovery,” said Sawant in a tweet.
