Panaji: The state celebrates a special occasion as the first Kadamba bus, GDX-1, marked 44 years of service.
This iconic bus was purchased on Dussehra in 1980 and has been a beloved part of the community ever since. To honor its legacy, a puja (ceremonial worship) was held at the Panaji bus stand.
After the puja, GDX-1 took a special round through the capital city, showcasing its enduring presence in Goa. The bus is not just a mode of transport but a symbol of pride for the drivers and staff of the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL).
KTCL drivers expressed their happiness and pride in being part of the journey with GDX-1, which has served countless passengers over the years.
