56-year-old foreigner dies at Agonda

CANACONA

A 56-year-old national from U Trezorky in the Czech Republic died at a Guest House in Agonda.

According to Canacona police, Richard Moucha, was residing alone in a guest house at Dessaiwada-Agonda, since mid-January.

He was feeling unwell when he sat on the chair and collapsed there.

He was later shifted in a 108 ambulance to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Canacona, where a doctor on duty declared him brought dead.

Police conducted the inquest panchnama and sent the body to the South Goa District Hospital at Margao for medico-legal formalities.

An unnatural death is registered under Section 194 BNSS 2023, and the police has notified the foreign office.

Further enquiry is being conducted by Babu D Dessai of Canacona Police Station.
