AAP announces 6 more names, tally @21

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced the names of a fresh batch of six candidates taking their tally to 21.
The names of Ranjit Cotta-Carvalho for Fatorda, Pradeep Amonkar for Tivim, Ursula D’Souza for Aldona, James Maxie Fernandes in Curchorem, Milind Gauns for Sanquelim and Sandesh Talekar for Canacona were approved by the political affairs committee headed by Arvind Kejriwal.
The latest batch of candidates has a mix of backgrounds including businessmen, men and women with political experience as well as a former cop.
Ranjit is a 48-year-old businessman and real estate developer while his mother, Inez Cotta-Carvalho was president of South Goa Congress in the past. Pradeep is a 52-year-old dedicated party volunteer since the beginning. He has fought two elections in the past as an MGP candidate in Pale constituency. James is a 51-year-old MBA holder and teacher. He has been AAP's coordinator in the constituency since last eight months. He is also a Personality Development Trainer, an RTI activist, and also a playwright. James is currently the State Secretary for the Bharat Scouts & Guides.
Milind, who recently joined AAP, is a 41-year-old BCom graduate who has been politically active. He was ex-Youth Congress president (Pale constituency), ex-vice president of Youth Congress (Goa State) and ex-vice-president (North Goa District) in the Congress Party.
Sandesh Telekar is a 40-year-old former cop having worked with Goa Police for 11 years.
AAP is the first party in the State to announce candidates and currently leads the race having announced the names in more than half the constituencies in the State.
