Venus Habib (60), who was arrested by Vasco police some months ago on charges of assaulting eight minor children in a Vasco flat, expired on Tuesday.
According to sources, Habib was out on bail and expired while undergoing treatment for some health issues in hospital.
It may be recalled that a childline group along with Vasco police had rescued eight minor girls, aged between 6 and 12 years, with some reportedly with injuries, from a flat in Baina.
