Asked to react to Dr Jorson’s decision to back Elvis for the Cuncolim seat, Radharao said he was of the firm view that UGDP should not field any candidate given that there are too many candidates and should only support the most suitable candidate amongst the lot in the constituency. “If Dr Jorson has decided to support Elvis in Cuncolim, may be because the party has no candidate for the seat. And, if the Party has no plans to field a candidate for Cuncolim, I see no reason why Dr Jorson cannot extend his individual support to the most suitable candidate,” he said.
Radharao, however, reiterated his stand that the AAP has been captured by the RSS leaders, adding that that may be one reason why so many people are now deserting the party in recent times.
