Adventure camp at Dodamarg
BICHOLIM: Sattari-based Sahas Academy Goa will organise the 27th Deepaji Rane walking expedition and residential camp at Talekhol-Dodamarg, Maharashtra, from December 26 to 30.
Academy president Rohan Sakhalkar said that the trek is open to students, youth, educational institutions and families and will include events like river crossing, rappelling, rock climbing and other events. It will also include symposiums on nature, snake watching and other events.
The camp site is located 8 kms from Don-Maad Keri Pernem area and those interested in attending have to pay a fee.
The camp will be inaugurated by Leader of the Opposition Pratapsing Rane. Speaker Anant Shet, Sakhali MLA Dr Pramod Sawant, sports director Vasant Prabhudesai, Laxmidas Mangeshkar and others will also be present.
Those interested should contact Rohan Sakhalkar or secretary Devendra Gurav and should submit the entry forms by December 22. Forms are available with Vinod Pangam at Sakhali.
