Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday stated that all rural households in Goa now have access to potable water, achieving a 100% target.
"The State had a coverage of 87.11% with piped water connections as on April 1. Goa proudly announces that all rural households in the State have access to potable water and 100% target is achieved," stated Sawant in a tweet.
In his message, the chief' minister also appealed to households who have their own source of water for drinking purposes to come forward if PWD piped connections are required.
