A man from Alto Dabolim was on Saturday booked by Vasco police on charges of stabbing a person, in what is believed to be a case of previous enmity.
According to Vasco PI Nolasco Raposo, the accused Gurudas Nagvekar allegedly stabbed one Bijju Pillai, who runs a business activity near the Dabolim Junction, late Friday night.
“Nagvekar was involved in an argument with Pillai and later stabbed Pillai,” PI Raposo said.
Pillai was rushed to Chicalim Cottage Hospital and was later referred to GMC hospital at Bambolim.
While Pillai is recovering at GMC hospital, Nagvekar has been absconding from the police and a case under Sections 326, 504 of IPC has been registered against him.
