Another round of admissions to the first year of undergraduate courses in government and aided colleges in the State is slated to kick-off via a centralised online platform facilitated by the Directorate of Higher Education from Saturday.
This third round of online admission is expected to iron out anomalies and residual admission issues of the first two rounds of admission besides offering those students who had not applied before to do so with a fresh application.
The admissions are for non-professional degree courses: Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), degrees in music, theatre and home science.
This third round of admission will last until September 24.
Applications have to be done online from 11 am on Saturday through the common portal on the DHE's website https://www.dhe.goa.gov.in/ where all guidelines are available.
Aspirants can exercise the option of applying to a maximum of three colleges in Goa according to their preference but at least one of the three has to be a government college.
Also, those who had applied in the previous two rounds but for some reason, technical or otherwise, their admissions have not been completed can rectify and edit their applications, including their course and college preferences, in this round.
