Parishioners of Assolna will celebrate the fourth centenary of the Regina Martyrum Church on Sunday, as the parish has chalked out a host of programmes, including spiritual, social and cultural to mark the great occasion.
Assistant Parish Priest Fr Michael Fernandes informed that the year long celebrations will be launched on Sunday with a mass by the Vicar General in the Church at 8 am. “That the Regina Martyrum Church is completing 400 years is an important occasion for the parishioners of Assolna. We have chalked out a programme to mark the centenary celebrations befitting the occasion,” Fr Michael said.
