Banyan tree crashes in Davorlim

The Margao Fire and Emergency Services rushed to Rumdamol, Davorlim, on Thursday after a large banyan tree came crashing down, causing significant damage. 

Fire officer Gill Souza said the fallen tree damaged a house, a Maruti Swift car, a Honda Activa scooter and a bicycle parked near a ground.

The incident left property worth an estimated Rs 95,000 damaged. No injuries were reported.
