The social organisation ‘Bicholim Shiksha Vision’ offered condolences to the families of about 25 persons who died from Covid in Bicholim municipality.
The organisation also provided some financial aid to the bereaved families.
Dr Chandrakant Shetye of Bicholim Shiksha Vision, his brother and former ZP member Sanjay Shetye and other members visited the bereaved families and offered their condolences on the demise of their loved ones.
“It is our commitment to offering support to many families who have lost their livelihood due to Covid. The government will provide aid, but we will always offer our service to them in their moments of grief,” said Dr Chandrakant Shetye.
The bereaved families expressed gratitude for the organisation's visit and support.
The ‘Bicholim Shiksha Vision’ has been serving the Bicholim constituency in various ways during the Covid pandemic.
