Minister for Tribal Welfare Ramesh Tawadkar on Saturday said today’s youth are not directionless and, if properly guided, can become strong agents of social change. Speaking at the 150th birth anniversary celebration of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, he described Munda as the “Father of Tribal Identity” and urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from his courage, ideology, and commitment to justice.
The Janajatiya Gaurav Varsh programme was organised by Adarsh Yuva Sangh and Balram Education Society, drawing a large gathering of villagers, students, and youth to honour the legacy of Dharti Aaba Birsa Munda.
Tawadkar praised Balram Education Society for promoting Munda’s values and lauded Adarsh Yuva Sangh for maintaining an “addiction-free” membership.
