BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus will host the 10th edition of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Bootcamp (YEB) from 19th to 24th May 2025.
The annual event aims to promote innovation, startup thinking, and entrepreneurship among students from across the country.
This year’s bootcamp has received over 800 applications. After a detailed screening and group discussion process, 164 students have been selected.
The camp will include workshops, field visits, mentoring sessions, and a pitching competition. Participants will get the chance to interact with leading entrepreneurs, industry experts, and innovators.
Dr Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural function.
Speakers at the event will include Shishir Joshipura, Managing Director of Praj Industries Ltd; Farheen Sayed, Director at Vanillakart; and D S Prashant, CEO of the Startup and IT Promotion Cell, Government of Goa.
Other names on the speaker list include Lalit Saraswat (Founder, Sancoale Technologies), Dr Lalit Khullar (Director, TiME), and Dilip Ramesh (Co-founder and CEO, Thinkerbell Labs).
Also speaking at the camp are Lohit Sahu (CEO, Edzok), Shailesh Jha (Associate Vice President, Kotak Investment Bank), Amit Vasistha (Founder, MyGALF), Varun Chawla (Founder, Build3), Meet Deore (Founder, Deni Bikes), and Umesh Rathod (Regional Head Mentor, Ministry of Education).
Activities planned through the week include business model sessions, app and website development workshops, PCB design, visits to innovation centres, sports and networking events, and a Goa exploration tour.
The pitching competition, where students will present their business ideas to investors and mentors, will be the highlight of the event.
The bootcamp is being organised by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at BITS Pilani Goa Campus as part of its ongoing efforts to build a strong innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
