BJP confident of winning 23 seats

Two days prior to the announcement of State Assembly polls results, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is confident of winning in a minimum of 23 constituencies.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar, BJP State President Vinay Tendulkar, BJP General Secretary Sadanand Shet Tanawade conducted one on one meetings with all its candidates for the polls gone by. The meetings reviewed the performance of the polls held and preparedness for the counting scheduled on March 11.   
The final round of review meetings held at BJP headquarters in Panaji concluded on Wednesday with nearly 18 of the candidates attending these meetings. Speaking to mediapersons after the meeting, most of the Party candidates seemed confident about BJP forming the next government.   
The candidates have also been advised not to leave the counting hall till the final results are declared.
