BJP MLA hails PM’s decision on bank account transactions

Mormugao MLA and Power Minister Milind Naik has welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision of directing all BJP MPs and MLAs to submit details of their bank account transactions after Rs 500 and Rs 100 notes were declared illegal tender.

The MPs and MLAs have been asked to submit details of the transactions between November 8 and December 31.  
Briefing the media on BJP Vijay Sankalp Melava on Tuesday, Naik said: “I have directed my office staff to update bank pass books and keep it ready to submit to the BJP office at Panaji.”   
“I am ready to submit my accounts tomorrow, but the bank pass book has to be updated and once it is done I will submit the copies of the bank pass book to the BJP office,” added Naik.   
Speaking on Vijay Sankalp Mormugao constituency Melava, Naik said the venue for the programme is behind Sada sub-ail and all necessary arrangements are made for free movement of vehicles and people.   
Naik added that Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar will address the BJP workers and Mormugao voters during the Melava on December 2.
