An electric city bus of Kadamba Transport Corporation went out of control at the Panaji bus stand on Monday morning, ramming into a garbage bin, a concrete structure and parked vehicles.

A KTC EV bus went out of control at the Panaji bus stand on Monday morning, crashing into garbage, a concrete structure and parked vehicles. Two passengers were injured and taken to GMC for treatment. Locals and passers-by helped the driver and commuters until fire and police teams arrived. The driver said the accident happened due to brake failure. The KTC has started an inquiry and called in technical experts to inspect the bus. Officials of Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Corporation also visited the site to investigate, while there were claims that the contractor was hiding details of the incident.
