Congress leaders from Canacona submitted a list of demands related to the Canacona constituency to South Goa MP Viriato Fernandes on Thursday.
The demands include issues faced by patients, especially those on dialysis, at the Canacona Health Centre. They also asked for better facilities, vessels and equipment for Talpona Coast.
The delegation included Goa Pradesh Youth Congress State Vice President Vaishnav Pednekar, Gaspar Coutinho (General Secretary, South Goa District Congress Committee), Manesh Dessai (Canacona Block Youth President), tribal leader and former Khotigao sarpanch Daya (Umesh) Gaonkar and others.
They met the MP at the South Goa District Collector’s Hall in Margao and submitted the demands.
