Canacona cops seize liquor at Maxem

Canacona police confiscated liquor worth Rs 9,365 from a roadside restaurant in a raid at Loliem-Polem in Canacona on Monday night.

According to Canacona Police Inspector Pravin Gawas, the raid was conducted at about 10.05 pm at Dapot-Maxem and the police team seized illegal liquor bottles worth Rs 9,365.

“The seized liquor will be handed over to local excise department,” said PI Gawas.
