The management of the starred hotel, Dy Collector Madhu Narvekar, Mamlatdar Manoj Korgaonkar, the Mallikarjun Devasthan’s President Vithoba Desai, and Canacona Municipal Council Vice Chairperson and local councillor Gandesh Madgaonkar were among those present at the meeting after inspecting the disputed road and path in the area of the starred resort.
Tawadkar first interacted with Ashok Dhuri and Subhash Dhuri, who are performing devotional work at the homes of the Pagi community in Rajbagh, to understand their concerns and demands.
Afterwards, the speaker met the Mallikarjun Temple President Vithoba Desai and later held discussions with representatives of the resort management.
After listening to everyone, Tawadkar proposed keeping open the road leading to the houses of the Pagi community, including the road leading to the houses of Ashok Dhuri and Subhash Dhuri.
Additionally, a proposal was made to the hotel management to widen another side road near the Talpona River by about three metres. The proposal was reportedly accepted by the hotel management.
