Candidates left high and dry after dept cancels exams

Job aspirants were not informed that written test for the LDC post had been called off

Many candidates, who on Sunday morning went to answer written test for the post of LDC of Transport Department at Goa Vidyaprasarak Mandal Farmagudi-Ponda, had to return back after waiting for long.  
The irate candidates though had received letters posted on November 18 intimating to remain present for written test were not informed that the test was cancelled.  
It may be recalled that a few days ago, the govt had cancelled the recruitment, making many selected candidates unhappy.  The candidates answering the exam were from across the State. 
They were furious when they saw that no arrangement was done to answer the exam.  AAP leader Adv Surel Tilve, who met the candidates, said many candidates went for written exam, but had to leave without answering it.
