The Goa government has postponed the three-day Goa Cashew Fest 2025, which was scheduled for this week, as a mark of solidarity following the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC) Chairperson Deviya Rane said, “As a mark of respect to the innocent lives lost in the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, the Goa Cashew Fest 2025, which was to be held from April 25 to 27, has been postponed.”
She said the new dates for the festival, which was planned at the Campal ground, will be announced soon. This would have been the third edition of the event.
“We offer our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and stand with them in their time of grief,” she added.
