CCMC chairperson, deputy resign
CURCHOREM: Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council (CCMC) chairperson Vishwas Sawant Dessai and vice chairperson Pradnya Naik resigned from their respective posts on Tuesday.
Speaking to The Goan, Chief Officer Pramod Dessai said CCMC Chairperson Dessai and Vice Chairperson Naik submitted their resignation letters.
When contacted, Dessai said he cannot disclose any information about it and needs time.
It may be recalled that after municipal election last year, Vishwas Sawant Dessai, supporter of Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral, was elected as chairperson of CCMC.
