The event is being created to raise awareness and promote health, sports, fitness and lifestyle within the corporate world and society.
The main attraction of the event will be football. “Football has garnered great attention as a fitness sport that involves the spirit of teamwork. Goa is known as the traditional powerhouse region of Indian football and Goans enjoy sports as much as their food and music. Football is the leader among the popular sports in Goa. The State’s dominance in Indian football can be gauged from the fact that as many as five major I-league clubs are from the State. Recent developments have proven that Goan football is taking giant leaps,” said CII Goa Fest organisers.
They will therefore organise the 2nd edition of Goa Beach Soccer Fest on November 19 and 20, at Miramar Beach, Goa.
South Korea being the partner country for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Chang Soo Kim, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea will visit Goa on November 21 along with an Industry delegation from South Korea. CII Goa has decided to organise an Interactive Roundtable Session with Korean Industrialists and Goan counterparts followed by B2B on November 21 followed by networking lunch.
