Combat Kickboxing Martial Arts Academy (CKB), Mapusa, organised a special felicitation ceremony at the CKB Sports Club to honour its athletes who won medals at the South Asian Arm Boxing Championship 2025. The event recognised the hard work and international success of the academy’s kickboxers, making it a proud occasion for the institution.
The chief guest for the function was Amit Taneja, CEO of Bhutani Care, who presented medals and certificates to the medallists. In his speech, Taneja expressed his commitment to supporting emerging talent and promoting social and environmental causes across Goa. “I will always stand by the youth and every individual working towards progress and sustainability,” he said.
Several senior members of the CKB Academy were present at the event, including CEO and Chief Instructor Hussain Mulla, Senior Vice President Liby Mendonca, and team members Sweezel Fernandes, Shreya Naik, Manasi Sebastian, Imam Mulla, Anwar Patel, Sanjay Chawan, and Prajwal Mahajan.
As part of the ceremony, a tree plantation drive was held, with Amit Taneja planting a sapling to symbolise the academy’s dedication to environmental awareness.
Saplings, along with gifts and refreshments, were distributed to all attendees. The event concluded on a positive and celebratory note.
