On the occasion of Goa Liberation Day, the State government will confer the Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal for Meritorious and Gallantry Services, the Chief Minister’s Police (Gold) Medal for Meritorious Service, and the Chief Minister’s Home Guard and Civil Defence Medal for Meritorious Services at the State-level Liberation Day function on December 19.
The Chief Minister’s Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service will be awarded to Neelesh Fernandes, Station Fire Officer, Panaji; Aniket Anant Amonkar, Fire Fighter, Ponda; and Janga R. Gohar, Leading Fire Fighter, Panaji. The Fire Service Medal for Gallantry will be presented to Avinash U Gaonkar, Fire Fighter, Ponda.
The Chief Minister’s Police (Gold) Medal for Meritorious Service will be conferred on Dy SPs Sagar Ekoskar and Rajesh Kumar; LPI Sudiksha Naik; ASI Subhash Malvankar; HCs Bhalchandra Sawant and Melwin Dias; PC Amardeep Choudhary; Rama Kambli, Driver, Home Guards and Civil Defence, Panaji; Vidhya Talwar, Lady Home Guard Volunteer, Panaji Division; Rupesh Parvatkar, Civil Defence Warden, Mormugao Town; and Adv Harsha Naik, Civil Defence, Panaji Town.
