The order issued by GPCC president Luizinho Faleiro appointing the observers on Sunday includes several sitting MLAs besides other office bearers of GPCC.
Organisational elections of the Congress party will be held booth wise with members of each booth electing a delegate to the block Congress committee and president, vice president, treasurer and executive committee members of the booth.
In Pernem sitting MLA Dayanand Sopte has been named the observer while Nilkanth Halarnkar has been given charge of Mapusa and Filipe Neri Rodrigues of Nuvem.
Others named as observers include Agnelo Fernandes (given charge of Saligao), Dharmesh Saglani (Priol), Amarnath Panjikar (Porvorim) and Sankalp Amonkar who is given charge of Dabolim.
Others appointed observers include Dr Pramod Salgaocar for Mandrem, Narayan Redkar for Bicholim, Vaman Chodankar for Tivim, Babi Bagkar for Siolim, Sunil Kawthankar for Calangute, Mario Pinto for Aldona, Atanasio Monteiro for Panaji, Ezilda Sapeco for Taleigao, Nilkanth Gauns for Santa Cruz, Kishore Narvekar for San André, Vijay Pai for Cumbarjua, Manohar Shirodkar for Maem, Swati Kerkar for Sanquelim, Yatish Naik for Poriem and Saifullah Khan for Valpoi.
