The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) under the leadership of its President, Amit Patkar, on Saturday conducted an extensive training session for all Booth Level Agents (BLA 1) across all 40 constituencies.
The session focused on empowering BLAs with a clear understanding of their role and responsibility in safeguarding the democratic process at the booth level. Detailed discussions were held on voter awareness, election preparedness, monitoring of polling activities, and countering the corrupt practices that have become synonymous with the BJP government in Goa.
Addressing the gathering, GPCC President Amit Patkar said, “The Congress party is fully preparing itself to face all upcoming elections in Goa with a strong booth-level presence. BLAs are the backbone of our organisation, and today’s exercise was aimed at ensuring that every booth in Goa has a vigilant and trained representative. We will not allow the BJP’s misuse of power, money, and muscle to hijack the people’s mandate. Congress will fight back with people’s strength and democratic values.” He further added that @INCGoa’s mission is to protect Goa’s identity, preserve its culture, and stand firmly with the people on every issue of public interest.
