The controversial mobile tower at Govrotti-Nuvem is being pulled down by the cellular company.

Residents of Gorvotti-Nuvem has finally tasted success in their sustained battle against the mobile tower erected right on the middle of the Nuvem bypass in their locality.
Officials of the company have pulled down the tower from the location, months after the district authorities had called for the removal of the tower after the Traffic department had confirmed that the tower will cause obstruction and accidents on the bypass.
Congress leader Everson Vales, who along with other activists had lent support to the agitating residents of Gorvotti, said it’s not just the tower, but the edifice of ego has finally come down.
“It was a long battle the residents of Gorvotti had waged against the tower. The Corporate egos have finally crashed”, Everson said, while thanking the entire team and the villagers who had spearheaded the battle against the tower.
