The Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) has invited percentage rate tenders from eligible surveyors and agencies for conducting an aerial survey and volumetric analysis of waste spread over approximately 12,000 sq. m. at the designated dumping site.
The work, estimated at Rs 1.29 lakh (excluding GST), involves the use of drones to carry out surveys, submit detailed reports and provide supporting imagery before and after remediation of the legacy waste dump. The tentative quantity of waste to be assessed is around 19,200 cubic metres.
According to MMC, the tender is open only to agencies or surveyors having valid Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) permission for drone operations. The initial survey must be completed within 15 days, followed by a final survey within another 15 days.
The last date for submission of applications is October 7, up to 1 pm, while tender forms can be purchased until October 9. The sealed tenders will be accepted till October 14, 3 pm, and opened the same day at 3.30 pm in the presence of bidders.
Interested contractors can obtain further details and terms of work from the Technical Section of MMC. The council has reserved the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning reasons.
